giving:Generosity is an important quality to cultivate in the human heart. In many countries, this generosity is instilled from childhood, and can be experienced in the care and hospitality offered so naturally to pilgrims and travelers. At Growing Spirit, everyone practices giving, even the very young children who often are spontaneously generous. Trudy, Maureen, Frances, Suzanne, Daniel, Ben and other members of our community volunteer their time and energy to planning and leading the program. The families give their time and energy to open their hearts to communicate and connect with one another. Teachings are offered freely out of kinship and love for all life. When someone makes an offering to support the teachings, this is compassionate generosity. |

Growing Spirit would like to be able to expand our giving: to pay our teachers and reach out to families who may need help to attend. (Our registration fees cover the expenses of renting space, carrying insurance, and buying snacks and materials.) If you feel moved to participate in the tradition of giving, and to help make it possible for Growing Spirit to continue this work, we will welcome your offerings with warm gratitude. |
